With a win against Bell Gardens, coupled with Schurr losing to Keppel last Friday night our SGHS Boys Varsity Basketball Team ended their season in a tie for 1st place in league with Schurr High School. So now our boys enter the CIF playoffs as a #1 seed in Division 4AA and have earned a first-round bye. They now wait to face the winner between Rio Mesa and Segerstrom and will play here at home in Matador Arena this Friday, February 17 at 7pm.
An Additional Note: Our Girls Varsity Basketball Team has also qualified for the CIF playoffs with a 3rd place finish in the Almont League. They will traveling to Walnut High School to play on Thursday, February 16th at 7pm. Good luck Lady Matadors!!!
